Thomson-East Coast Line’s Effect on LIV at MB
In the heart of Singapore’s District 15, LIV @ MB is situated on Arthur Road
as a newly launched, bespoke residence from Bukit Sembawang Estates Limited. At $345m, it was sold in March 2018, after attracting 10 bids from developers. Taking into account the $60 million lease upgrades premium, the translated land cost is $1280 per square foot per plot ratio (psf ppr).
As soon as it’s built in 2024, it’ll have 298 luxurious homes spread out over two towers, each 24 stories high with a sky terrace. The apartments at Liv @ MB are situated in an area of low density, along Mountbatten and Meyer Road, which offers an open view of the business district.
Singapore’s 2019 Master Plan includes Liv at MB in Marine Parade Planning Area, which is currently receiving an upgrade to public transport with the construction of Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL). Liv at MB is located about 322 metres away from the future Katong Park MRT station (TE24) which is scheduled for completion in 2023.
The completion of TEL will be a landmark event for Singapore’s public transportation system. This new TEL will connect with five existing MRT lines Downtown, Circle, North-South, East-West and North-east as well as the Cross Island Line.
